Lagen Island Resort is set in a cove, fringed by a thick primary forest. The sprawling grounds cover more than four hectares. Lagen Island is a showcase of El Nido’s flora and fauna

, where trees provide various niches for a diverse variety of birds and mammals, providing a wealth of opportunities and experiences for wildlife observation and sightings. At the back of the resort is a trail that passes through a forest and ends in a private cove. The Lagen trail is one of the best sites for birdwatching, more rewarding during the early morning or towards late afternoon. Lagen Island hosts a high diversity of birds including almost all of the species endemic to Palawan.

At Lagen Island’s Clubhouse is the air-conditioned main dining area. Buffet and a la carte meals are served here. On the lower level are the boutique, game area, library, clinic, and conference room that can accommodate up to 70 persons theater-style and 60 persons classroom-style. The 12 x 25 meter swimming pool, designed with an even depth of 4 feet so as not to touch the roots of trees that lie underneath, is located in front of the clubhouse. Nearby is the poolside bar.
The resort has a marine sports center with a complete line of diving and snorkeling equipment as well as kayaks, windsurfs, and hobie cat.

Lagen Island Resort provides fast and convenient access to the different islands within El Nido. Among the activities available at Lagen Island Resort are hiking, lagoon tours, cave tours, mangrove river tours, bottom fishing, bird watching, hat making, picnic lunches, sunset cruising, kayaking, windsurfing, hobiecat sailing, snorkeling, diving, and with prior arrangement, dive courses.

Miniloc Island Resort is also set in a cove with a backdrop of sheer limestone cliffs. Reminiscent of a coastal village, Miniloc’s quaint charm is enhanced by its crystal clear waters teeming with tropical fishes. You need not go far to sample Miniloc Island’s interesting facets. ort are rich in marine life. At the end of the pier, guests can snorkel alongside 3-foot long groupers and hundreds of sergeant majors, damsel fish, fusiliers, and other multi-colored tropical fishes.
Facilities at Miniloc Island Resort include a restaurant located at the clubhouse, a boutique, video room, game area, Pavilion Bar, and a conference room that can accommodate up to 40 persons theater-style and 30 persons classroom-style. Miniloc Island Resort has complete diving and snorkeling facilities, as well as, kayaks, aqua bikes, windsurf, and hobie cat.
The different islands and activity sites in El Nido are easily accessible from Miniloc Island Resort. The Big and Small Lagoons are a short kayak ride away from the resort. Activities offered at Miniloc Island Resort include lagoon tours, cave tours, mangrove river tours, bottom fishing, bird watching, hat making, picnic lunches, sunset cruising, kayaking, windsurfing, hobiecat sailing, snorkeling, diving and, with prior arrangement, dive courses.
ACCOMMODATION Miniloc Island Resort has a total of 43 rooms. Like Lagen Islands Resort, it has a variety of accommodation styles to choose from. There are Water Cottages and Seaview Rooms built on stilts, Garden Cottages and Family Cottages surrounded by tropical plants, Cliff Cottages nestled in the hillside and Beachside Rooms right in front of the beach. The cottages and rooms at Miniloc Island Resort are built with thatched roofs and furnished with indigenous Filipino materials. The local flavor extends to the cottages and rooms from the wooden floors and walls made of woven bamboo slats (locally called sawali) to furniture hand-made from natural materials such as bamboo and rattan. All cottages and rooms are air-conditioned and have a mini bar, a hair dryer and private toilet, shower facilities and private verandahs that offer views of the cove and the nearby islands. The decor and interiors of these Cottages use native Filipino materials and create an ambiance of being in nature. The balconies are the perfect place for romantic interludes or being at peace with the surroundings. The perfect room for families and groups. The ground floor bedroom and bathroom are highlighted with decor and interiors made from native Filipino materials. The loft and the verandah give you stunning views of Bacuit Bay.

AIRFARE

Access to EL NIDO is from Manila via chartered flights from Island Tran voyagers Inc. (ITI) the regular aircraft used is a 19 seater Dornier with a flight time of approximately 75 munites. Roundtrip Airfare is PHP 14,000.00 nett per adult and Php 10,500.00 nett per child 2-11 years old, inclusive of fuel surcharge, taxes, terminal fee, use of private passenger lounge and complimentary light snacks and beverages. Luggage allowance is 12 kilograms per person. Including hand carry items. Excess Luggage shall be charge Php 70 nett per kilogram, inclusive of VAT. The daily flight schedules are as follows:

Manila- El Nido ETD 7:30 AM 11:30 AM and 3:00 PM
EL NIDO – MANILA ETD 9:30 AM 1:00 PM and 5:00 PM

Conditions:

* Loading of excess luggage is subject to space availability and aircraft load capacity
* ITI may offload Luggage in the event of aircraft overloading but shall send these to the resort via next available flight.
* Scheduled and fares may charge without prior notice.

OTHER CHARGES:
* Conservation fee – All visitors to EL NIDO 12 years old and above are required by law to pay a conservation fee of PHP 20.00 per person per night ( Maximum of Php 200.00 per person 0 This fee is collected by the Protected Area Management Board for the conservation of EL NIDO Protected Area and may be settles at the resort.

* Roundtrip host transfer charge of Php 5,000.00 nett for 1- 5 pax. Php 1,000.00 nett/additional pax shall be applied to guest taking Sealer or other flights. To be pre-paid upon reservation
